FundRAZOR Application

FundRAZOR projects are created and promoted by U of A groups to fund everything from student scholarships and cutting-edge research to service trips and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. FundRAZOR projects must exclusively benefit a university sanctioned initiative and may not raise money for third party organizations or other nonprofits. Please complete this pre-screen application to apply for crowdfunding.

What is the purpose of the project? What impact will the project have?

Provide the names and titles of the project team members who will help you execute this crowdfunder? Describe your total personal email contacts, social media following, and detail the specific target networks that will advocate for your project.

The typical successful crowdfunding project has a goal between $2,000 - $8,000. We recommend a conservative goal. (Goals above $10,000 will require back-up funding partners.)

Spots are limited and requested timeframes are not guaranteed.

Videos, pictures, and written text are required for project launch content must be developed for at least four updates throughout the project.

FundRAZOR will take time and effort not just to launch but to publicize and maintain communication to your crowd. Tell us about your plans to make updates to your project, share videos and pictures and steward the audience you are marketing to?

Please provide any other information that will help us evaluate your project's potential for success. The Office of Annual Giving will review pre-screen applications on a rolling basis and notify applicants within 2 weeks of submission if their project is a fit.
